Back West *Update*

We FINALLY made it back west. First I had to get used to life in "middle west" and now I need to get used to life in the desert - which is different than what I expected. After having to pack, load and drive for dayum near 2,000 miles across America's heartland - I really don't think I'm fit to do ANYTHING else. Sh*t, I'm surprised I can even type this post. *chuckle*

Middle America is very flat - like a pancake and different. I though portrayals of that sh*t on teLIEvison was just that - portrayals. Ummm, that sh*t is REAL. LOL. Even the Whole Foods are "different." Yes we had to stop at EVERY Whole Foods Market on our route. *chuckle* I think the place I liked the most was New Mexico. From what I could see it's very scenic. We stopped over in Albuquerque and man, for real, I really didn't want to leave. The Mr. felt the same way. Albuquerque was so BEAUTIFUL and the folks felt so warm and friendly. I could live there, EASILY. It's just the right mix of small town and big city, where there's not to much of either. Even their dayum highways were pretty. LOL.

We took lots of pics and of course did some videos. But I'm just NOT in the mood to be farting around with trying to upload that sh*t. Heck I still ain't uploaded the video's from Amira's birthday or pics. Maybe before summer ends I'll get to it.

Stay tuned for more updates . . .eventually.

Update July 7, 2009

Okay so I'm FINALLY getting around to adding pics from our cross country roadtrip/relocation to the desert. I've already uploaded videos to my YouTube page, so you can check those out www.youtube.com/user/CaliRed121

Below are a few pics that we took. It seems like most of the pics we took were in one place. By the time we got half way thru the trip I really wasn't interested in taking pictures and neither was the mr. I think we just wanted to GET to where we were going so that we could REST. Who ever said driving across the country was fun needs to be popped in the mouth. LOL!
